Avonley and Vadym are the 2020 US Figure Skating junior dance champions, 2019 ISU Grand Prix Final silver medalists, 2019 US Figure Skating junior dance silver medalists, 2020 Bavarian Open, 2019 JGP USA, 2019 JGP Poland and 2018 JGP Slovenia champions, 2018 JGP Lithuania silver medalists, fourth place finishers at the 2019 ISU World Figure Skating Championships and fifth place finishers at the 2018 Junior Grand Prix final. This is their first season competing for the Skating Club of New York.

Oona and Gage are the 2020 US Figure Skating junior dance bronze medalists, 2019 US Figure Skating junior dance pewter medalists, 2019 Eastern Sectional junior dance silver medalists, 2018 Eastern Sectional novice dance champions and 2017 Eastern Sectional intermediate dance pewter medalists. They placed fourth this season at the Bavarian Open, fifth at JGP Egna-Neumarkt, Italy and seventh at JGP Chelyabinsk, Russia. They placed ninth at their inaugural Team USA assignment, the 2018 JGP in Kaunas, Lithuania and eighth at 2018 JGP Armenia.

The 2020 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships concluded February 29 at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. Seven SCNY lines competed, winning one national titles, three silver medals, and one pewter. Congratulations, all participants. We are so proud of you!

Gotham City Synchro Masters Line

Gotham City Synchro Masters won bronze at the 2020 Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships and silver at the 2019 Boston Synchronized Skating Classic. This is the team's seventh trip to Nationals.

The Skyliners Senior Line

Skyliners Senior are the defending US Synchronized Skating silver medalists and 2020 ISU Zagreb Snowflakes Trophy champions. They won silver last season in Zagreb and placed eighth in their first appearance at the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships. The team has won two silver medals at nationals (2018, 2019), three bronze medals (2015, 2016, 2017) and one pewter medal (2013). The team's first season was 2012.

In addition to its Team USA assignments in Zagreb, the Skyliners' competed this season at the ISU Challenger Series California Cup and Milan Spring Cup, where they placed fifth. The team is ranked seventh overall in the 2019/20 ISU World Standings.

The Skyliners Junior Line

Skyliners Junior are the defending US Synchronized Skating Champions, having also won in 2011, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019. They won silver at their first international assignment of the season, the ISU Challenger Series California Cup in Irvine, California, won gold at the ISU Britannia Cup in Nottingham, England, and placed fourth at the ISU Challenger Series French Cup.

Skyliners Junior are the defending World Synchronized Skating bronze medalists and 2018 World Synchronized Skating silver medalists. They are the only US junior-level team to have earned medals at worlds. Skyliners Junior are ranked second in the 2019/20 ISU World Junior Standings, behind Team Junost of Russia, and have been designated by US Figure Skating as World Junior Team 1 at the upcoming 2020 ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships in Nottingham, England.

The Skyliners Novice Blue Line

Skyliners Novice Blue won gold at the 2020 Eastern Syncrhonized Skating Sectional Championships, 2019 Glacier Falls Fall Classic and 2019 Dr. Richard Porter Synchronized Skating Classic, and won bronze at the 2019 Boston Synchronized Skating Classic. The Skyliners won the US novice title three times (2019, 2018, 2017) and the national bronze medal four times (2015, 2014, 2013 and 2011).

The Skyliners Novice Black Line

Skyliners Novice Black won gold at the 2019 Boston Synchronized Skating Classic and bronze at Eastern Sectionals and the 2020 Colonial Synchronized Skating Classic. The line placed sixth at 24th Annual Dr. Richard Porter Classic. Skyliners Novice has won the US national novice title three times (2019, 2018, 2017) and the national bronze medal four times (2015, 2014, 2013 and 2011).

The Skyliners Intermediate Line

Skyliners Intermediate won silver at the 2020 Eastern Sectional Championships, 2019 Dr. Richard Porter Classic and 2019 Boston Synchronized Skating Classic, and pewter at the 2020 Colonial Synchronized Skating Classic. The Skyliners won the US intermediate title in 2016 and 2017, silver in 2011 and 2018, bronze in 2013 and 2019, and pewter in 2012.

The Skyliners Juvenile Line

Skyliners Juvenile won gold at the 2020 Eastern Synchronized Skating Championships, 2019 Boston Synchronized Skating Classic and 2019 Terry Conners Open, and silver at the 2020 Colonial Synchronized Skating Classic. Skyliners Juvenile has won five National titles (2011, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019) and Eastern Sectionals ten consecutive times (2011-20). It won silver at Nationals in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2018.

Skyliners Senior competes February 15-16 at its third international assignment of the season, the 26th Annual ISU Challenger Series Spring Cup in Milan, Italy. Good luck, SCNY and all Team USA representatives!

The Skyliners Synchronized Skating Team Senior Line

Tarah and Daniel are the 2020 US Figure Skating Championships senior pairs bronze medalists. They are the 2016 US Figure Skating senior pairs champions, 2018 Four Continents champions, 2016 CS US International champions, 2014 Four Continents silver medalists, 2018 US silver medalists, 2019 Grand Prix France and CS Tallinn Trophy silver medalists, 3-time CS Golden Spin of Zagreb bronze medalists, 2015 US pairs bronze medalists, and 2019 US pairs pewter medalists.

They were silver medalists this season at the Golden Spin of Zagreb, placed fourth at the CS US International Classic, and placed sixth at the Grand Prix Cup of China and Grand Prix NHK Trophy. Daniel joined SCNY this season from the Skokie Valley SC.

Skyliners Junior compete January 31-February 1 at its third international assignment of the season, the 2020 ISU Challenger Series French Cup in Rouen, France. Good luck, SCNY and all Team USA representatives!

The Skyliners Synchronized Skating Junior Line

Skyliners Junior are the defending World Synchronized Skating bronze medalists and 2018 World Synchronized Skating silver medalists. They are the only US junior-level team to have earned medals at worlds.

Skyliners Junior are the defending US Synchronized Skating Champions, having also won in 2011, 2015, 2017 and 2018. They won silver at their first international assignment of the season, the ISU Challenger Series California Cup in Irvine, California, and took home gold at the ISU Britannia Cup in Nottingham, England.

The 2020 Toyota U.S. Figure Skating Championships are January 21-26 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. Fifteen SCNY members and associate members will be competing at the junior and senior level. Senior Ladies

Rena is a three-time North Atlantic regional champion -- for senior ladies in 2019 and junior ladies in 2018 and 2017. She is the 2020 and 2019 Eastern Sectional senior ladies pewter medalist.

Jimmy Ma
Senior Men

Jimmy placed third among junior men at the 2014 US Figure Skating Championships, fourth in 2013 and fifth among novice men in 2012. He won bronze at the Gardena Spring Trophy in 2013. He is the 2020 Eastern Sectional senior men's gold medalist, 2018 CS US International Classic bronze medalist, 2019 Eastern Sectional senior men's silver medalist, 2017 and 2018 Eastern Sectional senior men's bronze medalist, and 2015 Eastern Sectional senior men's pewter medalist. Jimmy placed sixth at the 2019 CS US International Classic and fourth at the 2019 CS Finlandia Trophy.

Haven and Brandon are the 2017 US Figure Skating senior pairs champions, 2019 and 2015 silver medalists and 2012 US Junior Pairs champions. They won silver at Grand Prix Skate America in 2015 and 2016 and bronze in 2019. They also won bronze at this season's Grand Prix Internationaux de France and the 2018 Challenger Series Autumn Classic. They placed fourth in senior pairs at Skate Canada (2016) , US International Classic (2017), CS Golden Sin of Zagreb (2016) and CS Ondrej Nepela (2016). Haven joined SCNY in 2016 from the Broadmoor SC.

Olivia Serafini (SCNY) and Mervin Tran (SCNY)
Senior Pairs

Olivia is skating her second season in pairs after a successful career in singles. She is the 2015 US Figure Skating junior ladies' silver medalist and 2014 US Figure Skating Classic junior ladies' champion.

Mervin won the 2012 ISU World Figure Skating Championships senior pairs' bronze medal with Narumi Takahashi, representing Japan. The pair won silver at the ISU Grand Prix Rostelecom Cup and NHK Trophy (2010 and 2011) and gold at the 2010 ISU Junior Grand Prix Final. Before teaming with Olivia, Mervin skated four seasons with Marissa Castelli, winning bronze and silver at the 2016 and 2017 US Figure Skating Championships.

Olivia and Mervin placed fifth at CS Finlandia Trophy, their first international assignment, and seventh at the 2019 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb.

Christina Carreira (SCNY) and Anthony Ponomarenko (SCSF)
Senior Dance

Christina and Anthony won gold at the 2019 Challenger Series Asian Open and 2018 CS Tallinn Trophy, silver at the 2019 and 2018 CS US International Classics, bronze at the 2018 CS Nebelhorn Trophy, and bronze at the 2018 Grand Prix Rostelecom Cup in Moscow. They are the 2018 US junior dance champions, 2018 ISU World Junior Figure Skating silver medalists, 2017 World Junior bronze medalists, 2017 ISU Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalists, 2017 US junior dance silver medalists, and 2015 US national pewter medalists. They placed sixth this season at Grand Prix Skate America and Grand Prix NHK.

Eva Pate (Strongsville SC) and Logan Bye (SCNY)
Senior Dance

Eva and Logan began skating together in July and are coached by Igor Shpilband. They are the 2020 US Dance Final senior champions and 2020 Midwestern Sectional Ice Dance Challenge silver medalists. Previously, Logan skated with Chloe Lewis. They were the 2018 US Figure Skating junior dance bronze medalists, 2017 US junior dance pewter medalists and 2013 US novice dance champions. They won silver at the 2016 Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer and bronze at 2016 JGP Tallinn, Estonia.

Analise Gonzalez (SC Boston) and Franz-Peter Jerosch (SCNY)
Junior Pairs

This is Analise and Franz's first season competing together and Analise's first season competing in pairs. Franz joined the Skating Club of New York after a fabulous 2017-18 season in novice pairs with Jade Hom. Together, Franz and Jade won the 2017 Eastern Sectional and 2018 US novice pairs titles, representing the Colonial and North Atlantic FSCs. Franz sat out the 2018-19 season because of a partner's injury. Analise is the daughter of former MLB shortstop Alex Gonzalez. Analise and Franz are coached by Bobby Martin and Carrie Wall and train in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Gotham City Synchro Masters Line

The Gotham City Synchro Masters line won silver at its first competition of the season, the 2019 Boston Synchronized Skating Classic.

Gotham City Synchro Adult Line

The Gotham City Synchro Adult line won pewter at its first competition of the season, the 2019 Boston Synchronized Skating Classic.

The Skyliners Novice Black Line

Skyliners Novice Black won gold at the 2019 Boston Synchronized Skating Classic and bronze at the 2020 Colonial Synchronized Skating Classic. It placed sixth at 24th Annual Dr. Richard Porter Classic. Skyliners Juvenile has won five National titles (2011, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019) and Eastern Sectionals nine consecutive times (2011-19). It won silver at Nationals in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2018.

CP Ice Intermediate Line

CP Ice Intermediate won silver at the 2019 Terry Conners Open. It also competed at the 2019 Boston and 2020 Colonial Synchronized Skating Classics, placing eleventh and tenth, respectively.

CP Ice Open Juvenile Line

CP Ice Open Juvenile won pewter at the 2019 Terry Conners Open. It also competed at the 2019 Boston and 2020 Colonial Synchronized Skating Classics, placing ninth and seventh, respectively. CP Ice won the open juvenile eastern sectional title in 2016, the only SCNY team to have done so.

CP Ice Pre-Juvenile Line

CP Ice Pre-Juvenile won pewter at the 2019 Terry Conners Open. It also competed at the 2019 Boston and 2020 Colonial Synchronized Skating Classics, placing seventh and eighth, respectively. CP Ice Pre-Juvenile won pewter at the 2016 Eastern Sectional Synchronized Skating Championships.

Team Rinx Open Juvenile Line

Team Rinx Open Juvenile won gold at the 2019 Essex Synchronized Skating Classic and placed fifth at the 2019 Terry Conners Open. This is the line's second year of competition.

Team Rinx Preliminary Line

Team Rinx Preliminary won pewter at the 2019 Essex Synchronized Skating Classic and placed seventh at the 2019 Terry Conners Open. This is the line's first year of competition.
